Layoff Notify LLC was started by a Software Engineer and a recruiter after the recruiter asked ‘Is there a way that I could get alerted about layoffs like, by text message?’. Layoff Notify hopes to help recruiters get a jump start on recruiting impacted talent, and by extension those impacted by layoffs. Eventually Layoff Notify hopes to offer additional services like directly connecting impacted workers with recruiters, assistance to those impacted, and possibly other HR / Recruiting B2B services.
